VERSE 1:
SCORCHING WINDS
STANDING SILENT
A TOOL FOR OTHERS
TAKING LIVES AS SOON AS THEIR’S HAVE BEGUN
VERSE 2:
TOTAL MADNESS – WHAT WE BELIEVE
SCORNING OTHERS – IT’S YOU NEVER ME
LIVES DIVIDED – LOST NEVER FOUND
BROKEN PIECES LYING SMASHED ON THE GROUND
CHORUS:
THERE’S A FADING LIGHT
INNOCENCE IN PLIGHT
UNDER SUN AND MOON
LIFE ENDS TOO SOON
VERSE 3: OLD OPINIONS – SCORCHING THE LAND
NO FORGIVENESS – HOW MUCH CAN WE STAND
CAN WE HELP IT – CAN WE BREAK FREE
FROM OUR ACTIONS THAT INFLICT MISERY
CHORUS:
THERE’S A FADING LIGHT
INNOCENCE IN PLIGHT
UNDER SUN AND MOON
LIFE ENDS TOO SOON
For some reason, what I previewed and the real songs was somewhat different - maybe because of the cover art?
But I definitely don't regret something more spacial than expected. The recent Ocean drifting in space. frankwurst
Supplementing sasscore insanity with bolstered vocals and pop-punk songcraft, the California band are kicking ass and breaking boundaries. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 21, 2024
The flac version of this sounds great in my truck... not a crunch, clip or boom to be heard. That, in itself, gets this major points.
This is a lovely combination of early Floyd, U2 and a few San Francisco bands from the '60s with a heavy dose of Helmet tossed in. It's definitely best of breed when it comes to modern psych stuff. Even without a Hammond B3, it gets an easy A+... rick-taylor
